Tim Gerstmar grew up on Martha’s Vineyard. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the US Navy, and then later went on to study illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design. Tim has designed illustrations for collectable card games, RPG’s, and magazines. He even stared in the cult tongue in cheek horror film Die You Zombie Bastards.
In the early 2000’s Tim got his teaching license and started working as a high school English teacher, mostly overseas. He has worked in South Korea, Thailand, China, and now Malaysia. He later went on to earn a masters in English from The University of Nottingham.
An unabashed lover of genre fiction, Tim writes mostly science fiction and horror, though he also enjoys penning mystery and crime stories. His work draws upon his diverse travel experiences.
